Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool works without signing up, logging in or giving an email address.
Are my files uploaded?
No. PDF merge, split and compress, image to text, the thesis checker, the planners and all calculators run in your browser, so your files, images and text are not uploaded.
Which files are supported?
PDF files for the PDF tools, JPG, PNG and WebP images for image to text, and DOCX for the thesis format checker.
Is it really free?
Yes. The site is intended to be supported by advertising later. Ads are currently off and will never block the tools.
Is anything saved?
Three tools save automatically, in your own browser: the focus timer, the Eisenhower matrix and the deadline tracker. Seven more keep something only if you press their Save button: the grade calculator, roommate splitter, citation generator's bibliography, study schedule planner, time block planner, reading goal planner and the assignment readiness checker's requirements (never your file or your name). Your light or dark choice is also remembered. Nothing is sent to us, and every item can be deleted from the tool or from the Cookies page. Looking up a DOI or ISBN in the citation generator contacts Crossref or Open Library.
21 tools available. Read the privacy page and about page for details.
