Assignment Deadline Tracker
Keep every due date in one place. Add what is due, the date, an optional time, the course, a priority and the hours of work you expect. The list sorts itself with overdue work first and says exactly how far away each deadline is, including hours for timed ones. Filter by view or course, switch to an agenda by day, mark work in progress or done, and export to CSV or a calendar file. It runs in your browser, saves only on this device and sends no reminders unless you turn on notifications while the page is open.
Runs in your browser. Deadlines are saved only on this device and never sent to a server.
Times use this device's clock and time zone. Deadlines are saved only in this browser, on this device. Clearing site data removes them. Nothing is sent to a server, and no emails or text reminders are sent.
How it works
- Add the title, due date and, if you like, a time, course, priority and estimated hours.
- Read the list: overdue first, then the soonest. Use the view buttons, search or course filter.
- Press Start when you begin work, tick a deadline when it is done, or edit it if it changes.
- Switch to Agenda by day, or export CSV, a calendar (.ics) file or a JSON backup.
Options explained
- Due time
- Optional. With a time, the tracker counts down in hours and turns overdue when the time passes. Without one, a deadline is due until the end of its day.
- Views
- All, Overdue, Today, Next 7 days, Later and Completed, each with a count.
- Notifications
- Optional. Shows a notice about an hour before a timed deadline, only while this page is open. The browser asks for permission when you switch it on.
- Calendar export
- An .ics file of open deadlines, as timed or all-day events, that most calendar apps can import.
How the result is worked out
- Dates are calendar days in your device's time zone. Times use real elapsed minutes, so clock changes for daylight saving are handled correctly.
- Completed deadlines record the day you completed them.
Example
Today is 24 October. “Lab report” due 21 October shows as 3 days overdue at the top. “Quiz” due today at 15:00 shows “Due today at 15:00 (in 3 h 20 min)” at 11:40 and turns overdue after 15:00.
Tips for better results
- Enter every deadline as soon as you get the syllabus, including small quizzes, so nothing surprises you.
- Give yourself an earlier personal due date for big assignments and track that one.
- Check the list at the start of each day and again before you stop studying.
- Copy the list as text now and then so you have a backup outside this browser.
Limitations
- No emails, texts or push reminders are sent. Notifications work only while the page is open.
- Data is stored in this browser only. Another device or browser starts empty.
- If you change time zone, a deadline keeps the same clock time.

Frequently asked questions
Does it remind me?
Only if you turn on notifications and keep the page open. Nothing is sent from a server.
Will I lose my list?
Only if you clear this site's data or use another browser. Export a JSON backup to be safe.
How are days counted?
As whole calendar days between today and the due date, so something due tomorrow always says 1 day.
Can I put my deadlines in my calendar?
Yes. Export the .ics file and import it into your calendar app.
