Exam Study Schedule Planner

Add each exam with its date and topics. For every topic give the hours it needs and rate its importance, difficulty and your confidence. Tell the planner how many hours you can study on each weekday, which days are off and how long one session lasts. It spreads the work over the days before each exam, puts topics that need the most attention first, and keeps the last day for review if you want. If time is short it says how much does not fit. Mark sessions done, edit them, and rebuild when you fall behind.

Your time

Your plan

Choose your exam date and your topics to see a plan.

Everything is calculated in your browser. Saving is optional and stays on this device. A plan cannot guarantee exam success: it only shows how your available hours can be spent.

How it works

  1. Add each exam with its date, then list its topics with the hours each needs and a rating for importance, difficulty and confidence.
  2. Enter the hours you can study on each weekday, any days off, your longest session and whether to spread work evenly or fill the earliest days.
  3. Read the day-by-day plan and the notes about time that does not fit. Tick sessions done, change minutes or dates, or add a session by hand.
  4. If you miss days, use Rebuild plan from today. Download a CSV or calendar file, copy the plan as text or print it.

Options explained

Importance, difficulty and confidence
Each topic gets a score: importance (1 to 3) times difficulty (1 to 3) times (6 minus confidence from 1 to 5). Higher scores are handled first. The score decides order only, never how many hours a topic needs.
Balanced or early
Balanced spreads sessions evenly over the available days. Early fills the earliest days up to your hours and leaves later days free.
Review day
Keeps the last usable day before an exam for all of that exam's topics, in proportion to their hours. It is skipped when fewer than two days are usable.
Days off
Dates with no study at all, whatever the weekday hours say.

How the result is worked out

  • Study days run from today to the day before each exam. A day never gets more minutes than the hours you set for its weekday.
  • Exams are handled earliest first, and a topic is only placed before its own exam. Work that does not fit is reported per topic, never squeezed into an overloaded day.
  • A session is at most your session length. A day with less room than that gets a shorter session.
  • Rebuilding keeps completed sessions, subtracts them from what remains, and plans the rest from today.

Example

Today is Saturday 24 October and the exam is on 28 October, with 2 hours available each day, 60-minute sessions and the balanced setting. Algebra needs 3 hours (important, hard, low confidence) and Biology 2 hours (easy, confident). The plan is Algebra and Biology on the 24th, Algebra on the 25th, Biology on the 26th and Algebra on the 27th. All 5 hours fit and the exam day stays free.

Tips for better results

  • Estimate hours per topic from how much you must learn and how confident you are, then add a margin for the hard ones.
  • Rate importance, difficulty and confidence honestly. Topics that are important, hard and shaky are planned first.
  • Keep the review day on. Revisiting everything before the exam helps what you learned earlier stick.
  • Be realistic about weekday hours. A plan you can keep beats an ambitious one you abandon.

Limitations

  • Hours per topic are your estimates. The planner does not know the material or what the exam will ask.
  • It does not know about other commitments, so check the plan against your calendar.
  • A plan cannot guarantee a result. It only shows how your available hours can be spent.
  • Saved plans live in this browser only and are gone if you clear site data. Download the CSV for a copy.

Frequently asked questions

What if I do not have enough time?

The planner lists how many minutes of each topic do not fit before the exam. Add hours, cut a topic or move the date. It never overloads a day.

Does it include the exam day?

No. Study days stop on the day before each exam, so the exam day stays free.

What does Rebuild plan from today do?

It keeps sessions you ticked as done, treats missed sessions as work still to do, and plans everything that remains from today with your current settings.

Can I plan several exams at once?

Yes. They share your weekly hours. The earliest exam is planned first and later exams use the time that remains.

Is my plan stored anywhere?

Only on this device, and only if you press Save plan. You can delete it with the Delete saved plan button.
